AuctionBuddha.com

A localized eBay for a vendor mall — per-vendor storefronts, a dual-path auction engine, and an admin ecosystem that runs the online catalog and the shop floor.

The public storefront below is the smallest part of this build. AuctionBuddha is a complete drop-in commerce ecosystem: every vendor in the mall runs their own mini storefront and their own auctions, on an admin center that also reaches back into in-store operations.

A closer look

AuctionBuddha combines a polished public storefront with the deeper marketplace pieces that auction businesses need: browseable inventory, auction events, seller onboarding, and protected account access.

Under the hood

Everything above is the smallest part of it.

AuctionBuddha is closest to a localized eBay built for one vendor mall — a complete drop-in ecosystem, not a website with an auction page bolted on. Most of the build lives behind the login, where an admin center runs the online marketplace and the physical store from the same records.

storefront
VENDOR MINI-STOREFRONTS

Any vendor in the mall can open and run their own storefront inside the main site — their own inventory, listings, and buyers, under the mall's roof.

gavel
DUAL-PATH AUCTIONS

A vendor can fire an immediate timed auction on their own lots, or schedule those lots into the store's end-of-month house auction — two different workflows on one engine.

ADMIN CENTER ECOSYSTEM

Vendor management, approvals, inventory, listings, orders, auction scheduling, and reporting — the operational core the storefront simply sits on top of.

forum
FULL MESSAGING

Messaging runs through the storefronts and the admin center, so the mall, its vendors, and buyers all talk inside the platform instead of in scattered email threads.

LABEL PRINTING

Tag and label printing is part of the system, so what is listed online and what is priced on the shelf stay the same record.

RUNS THE STORE TOO

The platform integrates with and controls in-store operations, not just the website — one ecosystem covering the counter and the catalog.

What would a build like this cost?

Estimated build time ~280–440+ hours

This is not a website, and it is not really a "marketplace page" either — it is a complete drop-in commerce ecosystem, effectively a localized eBay for a single vendor mall, that also reaches back into the physical store. Priced against our current published pricing it falls under custom software and AI systems, which start at $10,000; a platform carrying per-vendor storefronts, its own auction engine, a full admin back office, and in-store control is a large multiple of that entry point. Here is roughly how the build time breaks down, in hours at our published $125/hr shop rate:

Multi-vendor mall & mini storefronts

Every vendor opens and runs their own storefront inside the mall — their own inventory, listings, and buyers — with the mall administering all of them.

major module

Dual-path auction engine

Vendor-run immediate timed auctions plus scheduling lots into the store's end-of-month house auction, with soft and hard close — two workflows, one engine.

major module

Admin center ecosystem & messaging

Vendor management, approvals, inventory, orders, auction scheduling, reporting, and full messaging across the mall, its vendors, and buyers.

major module

In-store operations & label printing

Tag and label printing plus integration and control of the physical shop workflow, running on the same records as the online catalog.

major module

Public marketplace & accounts

Search, categories, filters, favorites, cart, buyer accounts, and marketing capture — the part visitors actually see.

Custom Software & AI Systems

Custom platforms start at $10,000 with milestone-based pricing, or hourly at our published $125/hr shop rate. A drop-in ecosystem at this depth — vendor storefronts, an auction engine, an admin back office, and in-store control — typically runs ~280–440+ hours.

Estimate only — build-time in hours at our published $125/hr shop rate, reconciled against our current starting prices. Final pricing depends on pages, content readiness, design requirements, integrations, and third-party tools; hours × rate is not a quote, and every project is scoped and quoted individually.
